RPG
performed the bi-annual brake fluid flush on my '04 RT over the weekend. No issues other than observing the small sealing washers underneath the front and rear access ports on the ABS moduel were sort of, kinda distorted. I had some spares and replaced and tightened a little more than finger tight. Just wondering how tight those babies should be to prevent brake fluid weepage or if a more rigid gasket material can be substituted? thanks, RPG Link to comment
4wheeldog
My concern would be water intrusion more than brake fluid leakage. The gaskets in question are most likely 8 years old, so I don't know how much better they need to be. Snug should be plenty tight. Those caps vent to atmosphere through the vent hoses, after all.
