How lucky is Stoner. Found another QUICK bike! Could be another big year for Honda ;)! Could be a looooong season for some:lurk:. I will be surprised if Stoner does not finish his career with Honda . Pedrosa needs to be very very competive this year (at a minimum of 2nd in the title?) or I think Honda will cut him loose (as his contract expires end of 2012?)

Ducati better come up with a better bike this year or Rossi will walk away. He may well retire anyway. Hayden deserves a better ride, too.

Then there's the "claiming rule" class that will run with the GP guys. I don't know what to make of that, but it will put more machines on the track - always a good thing. Kinda like FIA GT car racing where they run three classes at the same time. Makes for some interesting passing when the fast guys lap the "slow" guys.

Should be interesting.

With the Hondas so dominant, only three manufacturers, the odd CRT groups trailing along way behind, it's going to be mighty hard to justify the $131 MGP wants for the HD video feeds...last year I suffered through the awful Speed coverage, swearing I'd go back to paying the price this year, but the testing times are discouraging from the standpoint of a fan wanting lots of great racing at the front, instead of coverage of the great racing for 4-5-6 places like we had last year.

I bought the videopass from Moto GP. The coverage in Malaysia this week has been so-so. Some better interviews with the riders would have been helpful. I'm excited about the CRT class. Colin Edwards is on a BMW, but they had quite a few "chatter" issues during the tests this week and they couldn't figure them out. Nicky Hayden has some serious shoulder problems, but he says he should be ready by the start of the season. Not so sure about that. Ben Spies looked really good. I can't get enough of this stuff. http://www.motopodcast.com/ has a couple decent interviews including one from a very candid Colin Edwards.
