GordonB
I am having trouble with my clutch switch in the lefthand grip. A few blasts of air helped for a few days but probably need to pull apart and clean. Help on disassembly appreciated. 2007 RT. Thanks Link to comment
FlyingFinn
No need to tear apart the switch assembly, micro switch for the clutch is a separate "item" at the bottom of the switch cluster. You can locate it looking up towards the clutch level. Mostly likely the micro switch is still good but it just needs to be adjusted. There is a little set screw that needs to be loosened first. Then you can move & adjust the switch so that it opens & closes as clutch lever is pulled. Listen for the faint click click sounds. If the switch indeed is toast, they are cheep and easy to replace. -- Mikko Link to comment
