Aluminum_Butt
I just received my first V1. In reading through the manual, I noted the "logic" and "advanced logic" modes. These modes allow the computer to make judgements about whether it is sensing true traffic radar or not. In "logic" mode, it gives a quieter warning to potential false alarms. In "advanced logic" mode, it give NO warning. That would cut down on false alarms, which would be a great thing. Just wondering about the experience of folks on this board using these modes, and whether you've seen the computer fail (or significantly delay) to report a real bogey. Link to comment
russell_bynum
I run in Advanced Logic mode (Big L) all the time and have never had problems detecting real threats. Link to comment
ghaverkamp
The logic modes only impact X-band notifications. Since I've only ever seen one attended radar hit from X-band radar, I've been just about ready to disable X-band, anyway. Do that, and the logic modes no longer matter, anyway. Link to comment
R4ND0M_AX3
I'm almost ready to turn of the X band. Link to comment

johnt650
Unfortunately X-band is still a factor in NC. I have used the V1 for a number of years and only run on the filter modes (logic) when someone is in the car with me, otherwise I just hit the mute button. Link to comment
