Nesbocaj
I have been shopping for shocks and talked to this one manufacturer that doesn't yet make shocks for the RT. They need the loan of a RT for the build. I know nothing about them and don't know anything else about the deal, that would be up to you. If you are near Redlands, CA 92374 and are interested PM me. MODS if this is in anyway inappropriate please remove it at will. Link to comment
mbelectric
I guess I gotta ask the question...What's wrong with yours for the loan? MB> Link to comment

DiverRay
I can try and get over there! send me the info and I'll se what they need. My 2007 DOES have the ESA, though! Link to comment
Nesbocaj
Info sent via PM. I have ESA too, going to peel it off, put them in the closet, load up some (pick any maker of fine shocks) on this month. Interesting note: two of the shock sellers that I have talked to, are now able to R&R the servos on the ESA. So, now if they go bad, you don't have to buy the whole BMW shock with ESA. Almost made me keep the ESA on, Oh heck, I may still, with a set of Wilbers as the shock portion. Link to comment
tallman
We had a customer in N Fla who wanted to lower the GS baack in '05. We took off his shocks and sent them to company W for them to determine specifics. They made the first set for him, had what they needed, he got a great deal. Bike sat for a few weeks until the new lowered shocks arrived and then voila. Send' em yours, its winter. Link to comment

My ESA preload adjustment seems to be a bit flaky - I'm investigating my options. Link to comment

Nesbocaj
Ted Porter's www.BeemerShop.com Herman USA www.hermanusa.com One or both have the spring pre-load, or will have shortly. Both have the damper motor. (IIRC) Both places really do a great job of communication. Link to comment
lkchris
They need the loan of a RT for the build. Ask them for stock in the company in return. Your loan is the same as an investment if you're otherwise not paid for it. Link to comment
