Mister Tee Posted January 27, 2012 Share Posted January 27, 2012 I go to the gym. 30 minutes minimum of cardio, although I typically do an hour, and weights for upper body strength. Seven days a week. If I don't have access to a gym, I'll try to get my exercise in through biking or running. Link to comment

Today for the first time at the supermarket I parked the car at the farthest parking spot and using the cane walked in. Coming out shopping carts make excellent walkers. Link to comment

markgoodrich Posted January 29, 2012 Share Posted January 29, 2012 The last couple of weeks it's been knock back a snort of codeine cough syrup first thing, in hopes that it will at least ease the force of my coughing spells enough that only small bits of lung hit the wall across the room. (Allergies). Usually, though, it's exercise every day and pet the wiener dogs. [it's been conclusively shown that petting a dog increases levels of oxytocin in both the dog and the human, which has many benefits including calming, increasing trust, reducing fear, and much more...amazing...besides, I like petting the wiener dogs]. It starts the day out just right and allows me to handle anything that comes along. Without that routine, I am just miserable! Link to comment
