doc47 Posted January 15, 2012 Share Posted January 15, 2012 Gotta replace the busted latch on the RT. I've found a very nice used one but, of course, it has a different key. I'd like to take the cylinder from my busted latch and install it in the "new" assembly. Usually, the cylinders are held in by a surclip at the inside end of the cylinder. This, however, is not accessible on the R1100RT side cases. Everything is pretty much riveted or fastened together as to make the inner end of the cylinder inaccessible. Any suggestions on this?
