A great stopover in Roanake on the way to the UN

If you are headed south to the UN and looking for a great B&B just off the BRP in Roanoke, VA, check out the Black Lantern Inn. It is a wonderful home in the historic district with fantastic amenities, great hosts, and is close to downtown. The home itself is a restoration work of art. They even have bikes to use to get some exercise. Just be advised the parking lot has compacted gravel. We loved it!

Roanoke is also home to the Virginia Museum of Transportation.

Some cars & planes, but lots of railroad equipment.
