Starfighter Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 Getting ready to do my first brake fluid replacement on my '04 RTP... In reading (and re-reading) Leslies write up, she says check the BMW service manual for the correct numbering of the control circuit bleed screws. Well, I don't have a BMW service manual and Haynes doesn't help. Anyone have a photo or diagram of bleed screw numbering on the control unit for my scooter ?? Any special steps because rear brake pedal is not interlocked ?? Thanx for any help.

Willie Posted July 29, 2011 Posted July 29, 2011 I might add that buying a set of the small ignition wrenches is a nice thing. There's not that much room in there. I also found it helpful to put a 7mm socket on the bleeder screws to break them loose. They can get pretty tight and with some of the weird angles in there, a wrench might round them off a bit. Remember to shim those calipers wide open too.
