Looking at a '94 R1100RS- what should I be aware of?

Hey everyone,

Been gone for a while, but I could use a little advice.

 

I'm looking to replace my RT-P with something lighter and a bit more airflow over me when I ride. I have a line on a '94 RS with 26k on the clock for a price I can swing. Aside from the M94 trans, is there anything I should be aware (or wary) of?

Yes...be sure you do some facial stretching and strengthening exercises because you will be smiling the whole time.

 

 

I believe the '94 has the old style single throttle cable rather than the new split cable/Bowden box setup. Some people say that's a bad thing....some say a good thing.
