Dobes Posted June 4, 2011 Share Posted June 4, 2011 Does anyone know for sure if a R1150RT seat will fit on a R1150RS? From pics of the RT, it looks like the rear rack side frame cuts up into the lower side area of the seats where they meet, whereas the bottom edge of the RS seats is a virtually straight line. This leads to my next question, which is: Can the BMW luggage side frames and rear rack from an RT be fitted on an RS, and would that require buying an RT seat? Thanks. Link to comment

If you check the luggage carrier part number, 46542313319 (left side) for the 1150RT, you'll see that it also fits the 1100RT and the Euro 850RT. It isn't listed for the RS. That doesn't mean you can't force some kind of modification, but it doesn't interchange between those two bikes. Link to comment
