Not sure about accommodations down there yet. It'll be interesting to see how well they do the first year.

June in Texas? So, what is it, like 70 degrees down there at that time?

I really might have to. This might be an event not to be missed.

Especially with the right company around...

I was at the Dallas Grand Prix in 1984 and it was so hot that the track surface was melting. :P

For Austin in mid-June, you can easily expect to see mid-90's.

I don't know about F1 but we're already talking about a roadtrip for MOTO GP when it comes into town.

In the fridge.

Seriously, you can expect a guaranteed high in the upper 90s every day, with a good likelihood of hitting 100. It's 97 right now, 6:15pm, 4 June.

No, you're three hours...from the track. Two hours to get close, then an hour to get in on the gridlocked road system. Plan on three hours to get out.

Why would they want to do that in June?

The Canadian GP is just a week earlier in Montreal, after the US GP the circus travels to Europe for the next six races.

It's a very tight race calendar with 21 races all over the world between March and November.

Probably not much wiggle room for the timing of the US GP.

And hey, it's dry heat. No, wait.... :)

I'd like to reserve the LD Rider suite if possible...

There's also this from Speed TV

Because of the tight schedule, I'm thinking it'll stay in June. The first USGP in Phoenix was at same time of year. I plan on being there.
