It has taken me all over the Western US, but it is a terrible commuter bike for me, and the maint costs are making impractical to keep using for that sort of stuff. Plus, I have to admit, I am a Hoon. Like it or not, the GT gets me close to in trouble every time I ride it. So I set off to get a second moto. Laura also want to ride pillion more so we started looking at other options. I kept coming back to this ride. We took Larry's 02 up to Fish Lake and had a wonderful ride. It fit us both, it had enough power to be a blast in the twisties, and the luggage we need to ride two up. So this past weekend I found one on Craigslist for a really good price and decided to get it. The latest moto in the stable. So Tewks, now you have the rest of the story. Link to comment

I've blown thru a handful of bikes in the last few years and this one does it all and for not much money. It's got a pair of Ohlins, a custom seat and aftermarket wind screen since this pic. Whip Posted June 3, 2011 Share Posted June 3, 2011 The second day I had mine I rode it 900 miles to meet RoadScholar at his home in NC. I accused him of keeping this great bike from me. I had no idea how comfortable and capable it was. I have almost 60,000 miles on it in two years. .....and be very careful using the word smart when referring to me, I have a reputation to protect.
