Has anyone had any experience with this company? I ordered a toolkit for my R1200RT last Friday, the 13th. They charged my card immediately, and claimed they would ship item on May 19th. A bit unusual, but I played along. Now that date has come and gone and I have received no ship confirmation for my order. Is this standard practice? When I have ordered online before (from other vendors), they never charged my card till they shipped, and then sent a tracking # and a estimated ETA. Am I overreacting, or do I have cause for concern? I am leaving on June 3rd on about a 3000+ mile journey, be nice to know I have what I need if I run into trouble. I do have the Anonymous book, I guess.

Thanks for comments in advance

I looked at the website. $249+ for a tool kit?

A bit too rich for my blood. I have the same tools on my bike and I can tell you, it was less then $75.

Include the pump and other stuff still less then $110.

How long did it take for your shipment to arrive? Did they charge your card immediately? That was a new one on me. Hope I receive mine soon. Oh yea, are you a happy with the kit? Everything you expected? Thanks in advance.

I have one of their kits for the GS- Transaction went very well...Like MarcoPolo said, give them a call- they will get you fixed up.

Adventure Designs sells their tool kit directly from their web site and they also have a store on E-Bay. I purchased mine for

$200 off of their E-Bay store because all of my purchases there are guaranteed by E-Bay. You also get a confirmation e-mail of your purchase from them in that it indicates that you won the auction. I think they also quoted a 5-7 day delivery time. I wouldn't worry about it, but as earlier posters have suggested, call them to be sure. Have a great trip.

I don't recall now how long the shipment took, or whether my card was charged immediately. I just remember that I had a positive impression after the transaction. And yes, I was quite happy with the toolkit. For those who say they can put it together themselves for less, of course you can, but my time is worth something and in this case it was worth far more than the toolkit cost me.

Marcopolo, that is what my thoughts were, my time is worth more, glad to hear you are happy with the kit. I am supposed to receive mine today. All is well.

Being semi-retired, going to the various shops; getting quality tools;searching the internet for anything I couldn't get around here, all are quite fun. MY time is worth more to me having fun, and looking for tools for my "kit" is very fun.
