leeinmemphis
Hey everyone, I am interested in getting a set of risers for my '02 1150rt and have been looking to see if anyone makes a set that just raise the height of the bars up without any more set back? I saw some at a rally this weekend but never saw the owner to ask who made them. Thanks. Link to comment
dirtrider
Afternoon leeinmemphis I have seen them but can’t remember who made them (might be homemade). I made a set for a friend a few years back by tracing the bar attachment pattern on piece of ¾” thick aluminum then cutting that out, then drilling the holes. With no offset the holes just went straight through and longer bolts were used. Keep in mind that even straight through the spacers will move the bars slightly as the upper triple tree sits at an angle so the bars will move back a bit in relation to that mounting angle. If you can find some offset risers that inside edges are straight (not tapered or severely rounded) you could just use those as simple spacers and not use the offset holes (will need longer bolts tough). leeinmemphis
I have a buddy who does some machine work. I may ask him if he can make me some spacers if I traced out the pattern. Thanks for the idea. Link to comment
