off road (but still street legal) riding

was wondering about a couple of days spent riding mostly off road. I have a 450x which is a great fire road and single track bike, but does not really count as a true dual sport like say a DRZ450. any ride I go on needs to be 90% dirt, gravel, hard packed sand, clay etc. I will have my truck and trailer there so driving to a start point is easy. bike can handle 10 15 miles of pavement to get to next set of roads, but anything more than that is more than this bike was designed for.

 

anyone know the area well for this type of riding? I have a few maps and I am working on more. but if others want to tag with me, or someone in that are wants to work with me on this, just PM me.
