Hollow Road Rider
I am not sure if I am splitting hairs here, but I am not electronically savvy, so bear with me. I have a new helmet and SRC headset. The headsets are made by Cardo. The label on headset charger says the output is 5.0 Volts & 1.0 Amps. I have an extra phone charger with the identical mini USB fitting that lists the output at 5.1 Volts & .07 Amps. Can I use my phone charger on the headset without damaging it? Link to comment
DiggerJim
I do all the time - whatever charger & cable happens to be available. Mine are all 1A or near that - I expect your ".07Amp" is really "0.7Amp" and that just means it charges a bit slower. Link to comment

GRB60
Don't use one with higher amperage or you risk damaging the battery. Link to comment

RedMac
5.1 VDC won't matter... I wouldn't use one that was rated for 6 for instance, but .1 volts higher is fine... You can pick up a USB charger any number of places for a few bucks. Like this for instance.. $4.99 with free shipping http://www.meritline.com/travel-charger-with-usb-ports-white---p-59913.aspx Link to comment
GRB60
No. The voltage output should be close, too. Link to comment
