Rockrib Posted May 12, 2011 Share Posted May 12, 2011 I'm riding a '97 R1100rt and I'm looking to transport my 11'6" one piece surf-casting rod hither to yon. I'd rather not go with the Jouster method, but I'm open to any suggestions. I'd like the rig to be lockable as I usually stop for breakfast on my way home. Any Ideas? Thanks in advance. Danny caddyshack Noonan Posted May 13, 2011 Share Posted May 13, 2011 Hmmmm. A possible solution reminds of using the ATV whip mounted flag in the Pismo Dunes. The problem you may run into is the tail wagging the dog. It doesn't take a lot of weight to start feeling it when it is 10 feet from the center of mass. Link to comment
