Firefight911
There are only four ways to deal with the service reminder; 1 - Have your dealer reset it for you. 2 - Get or borrow a GS-911 diagnostic tool to do it yourself. 3 - Tape over the indicator. 4 - Ignore it. Link to comment
dsabmw
thanks for the information. Guess i'll just ignore it for now as i live 3 hours from the nearest dealer. Link to comment
David13
GS911 Thanks for reminding me. Mine always seems to come up when I am on the road. I'll check it before I head to Utah. dc Link to comment
Pocahontas John
Just done a service on my 08. Dealer will not reset unless he did the service. Is there any one with the GS911 in North Central Iowa? that would reset it for me Link to comment
Marty Hill
That's lame. I was at my dealer yesterday and they asked if I wanted to have it reset. I was there to say hello and have a cup of coffee. Link to comment
Tank
Hanson's BMW would if I asked, It just hasn't bothered me yet Link to comment

I posted the question to the Bahnsturmers list and received no reply. Whoever has one is keeping it to themselves. At some point I guess I will buy one...After a the peg lowering kit and seat. dirtrider
Evening Ponch Problem is: unless someone spends the “big” money and buys a professional version of the GS-911 there are ONLY 10 vehicles (10 separate vins) allowed to have the service reminder reset in the standard GS-911. By the time a person does his own and a coupé of friends that doesn’t leave many resets for a future BMW purchase or two. Link to comment
