Skitch
I'm moving from a 2006 ST1300 to a 2007 RT and would like to move some of my farkels with me (is it OK to use the term farkle is you ride a BMW?). Here is what I'd like to move (I'm pretty dumb on the pros and cons of the CanBus system): 1. I have an electrical connection aux fuse block with relay I'd like to tie to the battery. I'll be running my new farkles thru it for switched power. Any concerns reference the CanBus? 2. Hyperlites...I thought I remembered them selling BMW specific kits, but didn't find them on their website. Any problems using the universal kit on an RT? Any help with what wires to tap into would be most appreciated. 3. I'd like to hardwire my Escort into the bike. I'd like to put it in the right fairing pocket, and tie it to a remote visual indicator (on the dash somehwere) and to a radar screamer behind one of the unused speaker grills. I'd probably run power thru the aux fuse block for all three items? Any problems? 4. I have a Quest 2 GPS with garmin hardwire kit. I like it and would like to run it on the RT. I would like it low, between the handlebars, but am not sure about what ram ball to get (I already have a ram arm and gps holder). As for power, I am considering just tieing it to the aux fuse block (since I'll be running wires that way already, unless the consensus is to go with the BMW set-up already built into the bike. 5. Finally, I'd like to run my PIAA 1100x lights on the RT. I had a multi-fit kit on the ST, that put the lights low on the forks. I hated that look, and prefer having gthem up under the fairing like I've seen on other RTs. I'll need a new set of mounts to do this...any suggestions? Thanks in advance. - Skitch Link to comment

If I recall correctly, when you are finalizing your Hyperlites order you have to identify your bike. I received all the instructions for my RT. Link to comment
