OoPEZoO
99.9% sure that my transmission splines just stripped. Downshifted followed by a terrible zipping sound. Bike runs fine, but won't go anywhere. Gotta make some calls. Located about 1 mile south of the intersection of 79 and 4 in WV GPS N 38 36.460 W 080 52.007 Link to comment
tallman
Aaarrgghh.... My Anonymous book is at home, sorry. Maybe someone is close? Sounds like you need a tow/trailer set up. How far from home are you? Do you want someone to get numbers for UHaul or the like? Link to comment
dirtrider
Afternoon Keith Anything we can do for you from afar? I have an Anonymous book here, do you need anything or any contacts from that? Link to comment

Gotta make some calls. Sounds like a truck/trailer to get home time. If you wanna fix it yourself, I have a home brew fixture that will check the run out between the engine and the transmission axes. PM me. Good luck Link to comment
OoPEZoO
Got a tow to Summersville, WV. Gonna check with the local Honda shop in the AM. Im not interested in fixing this again The first input shaft lasted 101k miles and i caught it right before it stripped due to my clutch needing replaced. The rebuilt tranny with new input shaft only has 26k miles on it. Figure I'm either calling a buddy with a trailer, renting a uHaul, or trading it in. I'll figure it out tomorrow. Thanks everyone Link to comment
nrp
Betcha you have a loose rear main bearing in the engine. That'll beat the spline out too. Link to comment
