Where they gonna find the cops to enforce this?

They're "considering" it.

I think that it's a colossal waste of time to be worrying about circumcision right now, when the entire city budget is collapsing. They'd enforce it by telling the hospitals that they cannot do it.

That is absolutely freaking crazy. Circumcision is generally done for health reasons, regardless of religious practices. I do not believe my pee pee has been compromised by the process of circumcision as an infant.

How would you be able to know?

TSA could probably enforce it in combination with your pre-flight pat down.

My wife and I discussed this a few years ago when our son was born. We ended up getting the poor guy trimmed, but mostly just because it's traditional.

What business is it of the City, State or any other governmental body? Are they also going to ban tatoo's, piercings or any other altercation of bodily parts?

Typical SF morons imposing their ideals on everyone.

The only thing I dislike about it is the practise of NOT dulling the pain for the infant. For Pete's sake, a little topical lidocain or something to dull the pain would be mandatory if I were in charge.

Well, let's just say it hasn't been a limiting factor!

We're already dipping our poles into the realm of politics, so I'm gonna close this one down.

(And Mister_Tee, you might want to consider changing your sig line in light of this conversation.)
