ppatrick1090
Just finished stage 3 of my upgrades. Garage Door controls PIAA on/off switch on the fairing ( Ride Side) GoPro Camera installation with on/off switch and on/off record The best part is the gopro is power by the bike and be able to record when you want. Safe a lot of room on the disk and less time editing Two more stages to go. I just love the upgrades. Wanted to share with the group. Here is a quick pic. The company also did a page writeup for my bike at http://www.stylerider.com/case04012011.asp Any questions, please feel free to contact me or stylerider.com Link to comment
johnlt
Hey, that doesn't count; you had it all done by a pro. I'm surprised you put the switches on the "throttle hand" side of the bike. Ok when in cruise control but it would seem your left hand is more available on demand for switching. Just my opinion Link to comment
John Ranalletta
I'm curious just how the unit turns the GoPro on/off. I think my GoPro has only a mechanical on/off control. Please send close up pix of USB side showing how power was provided thru rain case and triggering method. Thanks. Link to comment
ppatrick1090
The right side of the fairing have plenty of room to install any switches, light etc That is why.. I do use my left hand to turn it on and off to record or put my cruise control. Patrick Link to comment
ppatrick1090
A special cable that connect from the back of the camera where extented battery or display connect. That cable bring power from the bike so you dont use the camera battery plus you can record on an off and now be able rotate the camera left to right etc ( not yet complete) Link to comment
