plext
Woke to an almost perfect morning and decided that though I had various jobs assigned by the wife, sod it, I'm going out on the bike. Leaving before she woke up proved the perfect solution to avoiding any complaints. Struck out towards Goulburn with no real plan other than enjoying the ride, fuelled up and made the decision to head up towards Taralga and the very K bike friendly sweepers to be found there. Long story short, a fantastic ride with no bastard on the roads which blew out a lot of cobwebs, damned good for the soul. Service station guy was somewhat bemused when I returned: "How did you use a tank so fast?" "Well, I've been to Oberon". I could see him doing the mental calcs on speed required to return trip so fast and the resulting look of "Bloody maniac" was most gratifying. Though an enjoyable run, it's not the most scenic. For what it's worth, here's a couple of pictures. Click on to see bigger. Link to comment

We had much the same today ... just us and the road. Sounds like you had one of "those" rides we think about at nights to put ourselves to sleep smiling. Cheers Bruce Link to comment
