How to ... turn signal assembly replacememt

Due to an unpleasant incident, I have to replace my left turn signal lens/reflector assembly. While I’ve had most of the plastic off, I’ve not had to do this operation before.

 

So, my question, exalted experts, is just how many layers will I have to peel back to be able to replace the assembly? Do you have any tricks that make it just like I had my own “Easy Button”?

Well looks can be deceiving.

 

I have only done one so did it by the manual. There m-i-g-h-t be an easier way but I haven’t done enough to help you there. If you want the manual way here it is.
