Joe Frickin' Friday
"Inherently safe" is nice, but "fast as hell" is better. Serial robots like FRIDA are too slow; If you want to meet your pancake-stacking quota, you need a delta robot like or possibly . Link to comment

beemerman2k
Wow, that second robot is quite impressive! I did write SkyNet and complained that their Terminators, while efficient, are kinda boring, so I guess this is their response. Nice Link to comment
SuperG
How many of you recall the movie "saturn 3" 1980, with Farrah Fawcett and Harvey Keitel. The robot's name was Hector. Spoiler alert: toward the end of the movie Hector ( the robot) ends up wearing his master's head as a headpiece and used it as a voice box to talk. Hector fell in love with Farraw Fawcett, then later tried to kill her. I watched this movie when I was a teen and it was scary as Sh$t. Robots gives me the creeps. The movie Irobot with Will SMith however is one of my favorite movie. Link to comment

SuperG
Davinci robotic surgery has been out for a while. In my mind..... I always hope that when I need to go under the knife those electric motor/servos in the robots are more reliable then the servos in my RC airplanes. yes they crash sometimes:( Link to comment
John Ranalletta
Two months ago, my sister underwent a complete hysterectomy. The surgeon used a DaVinci. She had two small incisions and was released with the only side effects from the anesthesia, staying only one night in hospital. Link to comment

As the bottle was being turned back upright the first time, I saw AT LEAST 2 DROPS fall OUTSIDE the glass. What a horrific travesty to waste good beer this way. Somebody's head will surely roll for this error! Link to comment
