I have mounted 2 halogon lights just above the front fender on my 1996 R110R...what is the proper aiming method? I read for the headlight, you measure to the center of the bulb, then at 17ft. the top of the low beam should be 2 inches below the measurement of the bulb. would you then measure to the center of the halogons and have them 2 inches below also? thanks for any knowledge..Robert

If they'll be on when there's oncoming traffic I usually just stand about 25 feet away and make sure they're low enough that they're not more irritating than the low beam.

that's a pretty good method!

I have some fog lights mounted on my GS engine guards and I have them adjusted to fill in the "hole" between the bike and the bottom of the low beam's pattern on the road.

Not sure of the correct answer, but I have one pointed towards the center strip and one towards the shoulder. Coupled with the headlight I light up from stripe to shoulder. I also have them pointed lower than the low beam. Works great for night vis.
