Couchrocket
Any of you PC experts out there have any experience w/ the IE 9 release candidate? Any reason I shouldn't download it (other than it being IE in the first place?). Thanks in advance for any insight / advice. Link to comment
John Ranalletta
Scott, I've been using it only because I can't get Firefox and Chrome to support Crystal Decision reports. That may be a local issue. It appears stable and as fast as Chrome, but don't have any stats to support that claim. It appears to comsume more resources though. Link to comment
leikam
I don't have an experience with IE9, but unless you have a particular need to be on the bleeding edge of browser software, I wouldn't recommend anything marked as a release candidate from any organization. Release candidates tend to be what the developers consider a solid product. Production versions on the other hand are what RCs become after being used in a broader context than developers had considered. Think of the RC as something that should work but which the company doesn't have enough confidence in (yet) to stand behind fully. Link to comment
