bluesguitarboy
Does anyone know the part number to this fuel pump strainer. It looks like it should be something I can pick up at my local auto parts dealer. http://beemerboneyard.com/16141341233n.html Link to comment

bluesguitarboy
Actually I wasn't clear I meant the Bosch aftermarket part number. I went to Autozone and found this out. It is Bosch part# 68008 or Airtex part# FS30. If you go to Autozone and ask for the fuel pump strainer for a 1993 Chevrolet Beretta 2.2L you will get a strainer for 10 bucks that replaces the $46.00 OEM. Link to comment
flars
I put the Airtex on my RS 10,000 miles ago. Goes right on. I asked for it by part number (FS30). Link to comment
mikeR1100R
I will be checking with my local Autozone tomorrow. If this is a fact, I will be reducing the cost of my major tuneup on my 98 R1100R significantly. Great detective work! Link to comment
AndyS
Hi Mike, my major is even cheaper, becuase I don't change it. Never known one block. Link to comment
flars
I only replaced mine because the end of it had come open after 130,000 miles. Link to comment
