live chat options for a small business

my company has a need for a live chat option related to our service department. We will have 3 or 4 operators covering live chat requests 16 hours each day Mon - Saturday. I have no experience in this area, but I have been google researching for a couple days now. Amazing all the features available and the wide pricing.

Randy, we checked out Liveperson as the live chat software of choice some years ago when we considered really selling online but didn't go ahead with it.

 

We did scrutinise all of the available software though and Liveperson came up as the number one. I suggest that you log on to the web site and fiddle around there for a while and watch what happens.
