mwood7800
Has anyone tried a utopia backrest on an rt Link to comment
Dave39
I don't have a backrest, but was thinking about getting one. I watched the installation video that Utopia had for a GW on their web site. If it's the same for an RT (dissection of the saddle and reassembly with help of an upholstery shop), I wouldn't be interested. Link to comment
Lmar
Quite a number of G W riders use them and like them. When I had a G W, I was apprehensive about cutting my seat to install it. Link to comment

Penforhire
Willy, that looks like a great back rest but $415 for my RT?! Holy cow. My back is starting to hurt just thinking of how much lighter my wallet would feel... Link to comment
I812
At that price I would say no. Used is good as new if you want to try it. Like the Tank bag. $125 used is far better then new $$$ Link to comment

My back is starting to hurt just thinking of how much lighter my wallet would feel... I've thought the same thing...unless a used one shows up. I need one only for multiday tours with long days, and then my luggage bag holding tent, sleeping bag, and pad serve as a good back rest. Link to comment
