skinny_tom (aka boney)
Cool ride Boney. Congrats on the move up...er...I mean the move forward. I prefer the tiller spot (because of the work that comes with it when we get a worker) but didn't have the seniority to grab it. The last few years I've been lucky enough to move about the rig on a day to day basis depending on how the schedule worked out. And yes, Johnny V. was at Truck 9. Link to comment

roadscholar
Drove one of these for about 15 years, http://www.videosurf.com/video/porsche-910-1211740569 then traded it for one of these. This is a langheck (long tail), mine was an earlier short tail coupe. http://www.videosurf.com/video/victory-by-design-porsche-908-61606019 This one. Nice to know it's in good hands, although I'd had the nose painted blue and prefer it to yellow, research likely proved the latter is correct. http://www.videosurf.com/video/porsche-908-in-the-shop-1235394323 Here is some vintage footage of similar cars in their element. Not the quality of modern film and I'm listing several (some are longish), they'll likely only interest afficionados of the sport, they cover a small slice of sportscar racing history. http://www.videosurf.com/video/le-mans-1969-part-4-race-73517953 http://www.videosurf.com/video/1970-sebring-12-hour-grand-prix-part-3-andretti-still-leads-1235398121 And if you're still here, that last footage is probably what led Mr. McQueen to do this, and featured the car that followed the 908, clocked at 249 mph on the Mulsanne straight. http://www.videosurf.com/video/le-mans-1971-with-steve-mcqueen-part-6-of-11-55503995 Link to comment
