Peter Parts
Very good show this year. Many vendors. Fun eyeballing the new bikes. Tires on sale (I got 40% off BT-023s) and, of course... the VINCENTS Ben (sure wish I could figure out how to attach my pictures) Link to comment
Peter Parts
Here's a nice bike with a Del'orto carb from 1975 Link to comment
Peter Parts
I rode something similar (but sup'ed up) for 34 seasons Link to comment
Peter Parts
If you wanted your wife to be a widow in 1974, here's the bike to ride on streetcar tracks in Toronto. Link to comment
Peter Parts
Yum, yum. Black Shadow. The fellow who runs this annual show is planning to start a museum. Already has quite a bunch of spectacular bikes, not least is this one. Link to comment
Rocer
Thanks for the pics Peter. I was at the show, intended on getting back to the vintage section but got tired of the crowd and left once my tolerance for idiots blocking isles while talking on their cell phones to their friend in the next hall, unsupervised kids climbing all over new machines and staff in booths talking to each other and showing no interest in (potential) customers. There was an earlier thread on all the different police bike models. Being from Toronto you might remember a trial of a European bike back in the 60's. Their claim to fame was how quiet they were. Do you remember what make/model that might have been and by chance was this model in the vintage section? Link to comment
Peter Parts
Ahhhh, geeeee, I don't remember much from the '60s. Just a guess, but it might have been some lovely cream-coloured R69s. Ben Link to comment
