Dakar - Starts Saturday - on TV Sunday

The Dakar starts Saturday, the first, and will be seen in part on tv here in Los Angeles on Versus as "Off Road Desert Series", for 1/2 hour only at 12:30 noon.

There is extensive coverage available worldwide, including streaming from a number of sources, and so far Advrider has many threads and 4000 posts with links.

A number of the Advrider people will be racing, including Jonah Street and Jenny Morgan, to name only two.

Robby Gordon will be back also.

For those who don't know, the rally includes motorcycles, cars, atvs and trucks and takes place in Chile and Argentina.

It makes the Baja 1000 look puny.

Don't know much about him but he seems like a nice guy. Would love to see an American win or do well, no doubt he has the ability.
