braindonor
Will wheels from an "99 1100S fit my "99 R1100RT? I just don't like the 3 spoke wheels. Link to comment
AndyS
No. The rear wheel on the 1100RT is an 18" as opposed to the 1100S which is a 17" Andy Link to comment

The R1150RT runs a 17. It would goof your gearing, and of course require a different tire. However, I believe the 1100S has too wide of a rim that would not allow it to fit. Link to comment

In essence you can make ANY wheel fit, but it is whether it is a straight swop or after some considerable mauling. The method of disc attachment is different on the two bikes. However, we will have some guys chime in soon who have looked more closely at this than I have (Paul). Personally even though I love the wheels on my 1150, I really like the smart, simple and Oh so easy to clean lines of the 1100RT 3 spoke. Andy Link to comment
