Sunday ride tale,

8am not a sole at the lookout, Who was I kidding the rain was lite but steady.Nothing matters any more I'm wet my finger tips are cold but I need to ride. Departing the lookout at the first turn around I notice maybe 6 cop cars with officers investigating something on the south bound lanes. So here I' am traveling north along the Palisades, the only thought I had was "how many LEO's patrol the Palisades?" Ton up! before I knew what had happen I was

quickly approaching exit 14 a favorite route of mine to Harriman State Park Rt's 98 and 106. I don't know maybe 1/2 mile after crossing seven lakes drive I come across a moto laying on its side. Now its raining cats and dogs I turn-on the hazards or four way flashers find a safe place to dismount. Walk maybe fifteen twenty yards over to where I find this Kawasaki Drifter, no rider in sight so with my best CSI experience I surmize the rider should be down in this shallow run-off ditch. I see what looks like some sort of skid mark to a freshly disturbed pile of leaves. Is that a boot I see, the sound of the rain is broken by the howling wind and Ray Ray wake up your hogging the covers.
