R1150RT radio locked or not?

I don't know WTF is going on with my radio. It worked when I got the bike. The controls quit working on the way home, but the display still works. The bike is an '04 R1150RT.

 

Last night, I unplugged the stereo, let it sit all night, and plugged it in this morning. It still pops up with a radio station and plays that station, but the unit does not respond to any button input from the radio or remote. Is this indicative of the anti-theft system being enabled?

 

Does anybody have any suggestions that don't include yanking the thing out?
