REVz
My son and I completed the clutch job for the 1974 R75/6. pictures here Half way in... Old Clutch... Old Clutch Removed... Comparison of new plate (left) old plate (right) On the road again.... Nothing really complex, needed a few special tools, and the clutch centering tool made by a friend.(different than the R1100RT's) REVz Link to comment
elkroeger
Great fun. Nice little family / summer project. When I did mine (R100/7), I didn't know any better and I basically dismantled the entire rear half of the bike. I probably tripled the time it took (it was mid-winter and all I had was an awning and a couple weekends). Later I learned that you can just pop the gearbox out... One thing - if you're just doing the occasional clutch, you don't need that centering tool. Link to comment
