Babby
Just purchased 80RT. Rebuilding carbs I found choke cables running to carb body and throttle cables running to choke flap located between carb body and rubber intake. Is this correct or am I crazy. As always help greatly appreciated. Link to comment
MacRunch
And did the previous owner say he had problems with throttle response? From your description I'd have to say, no, that's not normal. By "choke flap" are you referring to the enrichener? Link to comment
Mighty Manfred
If you're sure about the cables and where they are connected at the carb, I don't see how your bike wold run nor how you could twist the throttle much. Are you sure about what you described? Link to comment
Swordofwords
As you are now also an airhead, you will wnat to visit them, and get on the airhead list. Swordofwords
The fore cables are the throttle the aft the clutch. There will be other airheads in your ares (whereever that may be) that will help. Sword Link to comment
