Joe_C
Just curious. Can you get the part from BMW and what does it cost? Link to comment
Fran
Pretty expensive, just did mine last fall, don't remember the exact cost but around $300 or so comes to mind. Fran PS Make sure you get the right one, there are many variations available due to options that bikes may or may not have. Fran Link to comment
BarOne
Here's a tip -- hard learned. The switch for the warning flashers (if so equipped) is the same switch. Finding a used one is a tough hunt. I found a left side assembly at Boneyard and it was about $50 because the cruise was not functioning. Have not seen one since. Good luck. Link to comment
Hall Vince
This switch can be purchased from a supplier and replaced. What I can't remember is where I've read it. Someone has done this. Is there any clues as to the original manufactuer on it? Link to comment
George
I believe you will get the switch from DIGI KEY Now this link is the one for the indicator switch on a R1200RT, but I imagine you will find the cruise switch here too. I did the LH Indicator switch a while ago. You say it is for the cruise control switch? Do you mean cruise ON/OFF or the other two RES/SET ? Link to comment
jay1622
Thanks in large part to this thread and a few others, I should have my signal switch fixed soon... I don't know if this will help anyone, but I am attaching my best attempt at helping others troubleshoot their turn signals by way of video... Tell me what you think. I was also able to purchase the switch from digikey... I'm going to have to melt the resin out and use that white base for the new one though. Okay, you may now watch and laugh. Jay Link to comment
