Earthquakes and sensations

Don't know how many of the faithful felt the 7.2 earthquake Yesterday afternoon. I was on the computer trying to find a site for a friend and thought I was loosing my equilibrium. Stan says hey, earthquake and I stepped ou the door to see what the other BBQ guests were doing. They were all looking at the power lines waggling.

We're a couple hundred miles from the epicenter and it was a very gentle rocking. Stan says, not bad. I replied, yeah but somewhere folks are having a time of it.

Felt just like the Lanfair and Big Bear quakes of several years ago. Those were both on the same day about 3 hours apart. Just gentle movement from afar but a real eye opener for those top of things.

Makes me rethink my preparedness. We live on top of ground zero. It's not if, it's when!

California is on shaky ground in more ways than one. Not much you can do about an EQ even if you are prepared. I have a Honda generator just in case rapture happens.

I felt it at the dinner table eating cake with my folks in Phoenix. The light was moving big time as were the blinds. It was pretty darn cool.
