longjohn
Way to go Dennis. Our cinematographer in the making. Done with Apple imovie? Next time you might try White Line Fever and/or Hot Rod Lincoln for the b/g music:) Link to comment
KMG_365
All you guys were missed and sorely. Speaking of missing, I already miss my Handy Lift and Mitch's Mojo tire stand and Mojo Bar. I can't believe that thing fit in our little Scion! You should have seen us pull up: with all those tools, tires, wheels, we looked like the Joad family! Actually, with Kaylee in that car seat we looked more like the Beverly Hillbillies! So, the San Diego County Tech Daze Torch has been passed up to Vista. Dennis has got the most worthy Man Cave shaping up. He's got 1" thick rubber mats covering the entire floor, he's got one of the best lifts and tire changers on the market (or in the case of the Mojo stuff, no longer on the market ). He's got his dad delivering home-made Italian/Sicilian food for lunch! All he has to do now is get rid of that Gurly-Man air compressor and get a REAL one! "I need higher pressure and MORE VOLUME, Dennis!" "Dammit, Jamie. I'm givin' her all I've got. I'm a lighting guy not a pneumatic engineer!" "Can't you rewire that Harbor Freight POS and drop a Chevy V-8 into that sucker and give it MORE POWER!?!?!?" (both) "Ooooooohhhhh, Grunt, Grunt, Ohhh, Ahhhh, Ahhhh, Grunt, Snort." Todd's got the Great Hot North Tech Daze wired so we're all pretty fortunate down here in Dry Town! Thanks again for your generosity and all your hard work, Dennis! Link to comment
Groanup
Nice job Dennis! Thanks for opening your home (and garage) to us and letting me put center stand marks on your nice rubber mats. Next time I'll bring the Newcastle! Link to comment
graydude
Most excellent Dennis! We'll have the next one in November in the great north hot again! Link to comment
Bigfish
Thanks for all the kind comments. I can see Vista Tech Daze becoming an annual Spring event. I've already upgraded my air compressor so next year we might be able to pop-a-bead. Vista Tech Daze will be posted at least one month prior for next years event in hopes for attracting more newbies. Looking forward to Graydudes North TD in November. Link to comment
