tsp
So... when is this valve open? I mean under what conditions does it open (and I assume open means a btter or deeper sound). And if it helps the HP I'm amazed someone hasn't posted the instructions on deactivating it so that it's open all the time. Just wondering... my bike is only 3 days old. tsp Link to comment
NewBlue
It is open all the time, just not fully open, variable exhaust pulse tuning. It helps low RPM power, bypass it to fully open and you'll loose that. Noticed it's cable operated, is it a simple linkage controlled valve or tied to a computer controlled actuator? twisty, anyone? It's ties to a computer controlled actuator. As a matter of fact the latest beta version of the software for the GS-911 system allows you to command it open and closed for testing. Link to comment

Thank You and good to know the GS911 can control it. Link to comment
tsp
Thanks to all that have replied. Sounds like we should leave that valve alone... let it do it's thing. tsp 2010 RT Link to comment
