ESokoloff
This is coming up real fast. Hard to believe it's almost 29 years since the first launch. Link to comment
David
We'll be down there for it. Hopefully I'll get some good pictures. Link to comment
russell_bynum
Scheduled launch is at 6:21am EDT on 4/5/2010. That's no good for me. With the time zone difference that's 3:21am out here. I really don't like to get up before 6 at the very earliest. Dex, please reschedule for a later time. In fact...Mondays are just bad for me all around, so something Tuesday around noonish would be much better. Thanks. Link to comment
ESokoloff
Hopefully I'll get some good pictures. Lots of them I hope Hard to believe the program is nearly over. Some great accomplishments along with a few horrific failures. Link to comment
bakerzdosen
We'll be down there for it. Hopefully I'll get some good pictures.Although we've previously established that the camera isn't as important as the photographer, in this case, I'd recommend against the D Lux 4 for most of your shots. Tivo Russell. Tivo. And it is indeed near to the end of an era. Link to comment
russell_bynum
Tivo Russell. Tivo. Do they still put shuttle launches on TV? I haven't seen one there in ages. I usually watch on the intarwebs. Link to comment

David, we left about 3 and got there about 5. Back home again about 930. It was quite a shown, my 7 year old is still talking about it. Link to comment
David
That's cool. What an experience for him. Our dog sitter's brother was found in a coma, so we had to scramble to make other arrangements. And then we had to coordinate picking up a trailer with a Goldwing on it to tow back. Oh, and the nearest hotel was not near at all. About an hour. The combo of Spring Break and Easter had them all full. Link to comment
