Scheduled launch is at 6:21am EDT on 4/5/2010.

That's no good for me. With the time zone difference that's 3:21am out here. I really don't like to get up before 6 at the very earliest.

Dex, please reschedule for a later time.

In fact...Mondays are just bad for me all around, so something Tuesday around noonish would be much better.

Thanks.

Hopefully I'll get some good pictures.

Lots of them I hope :)

Hard to believe the program is nearly over.

Some great accomplishments along with a few horrific failures.

We'll be down there for it. Hopefully I'll get some good pictures.
Although we've previously established that the camera isn't as important as the photographer, in this case, I'd recommend against the D Lux 4 for most of your shots. :)

Tivo Russell. Tivo.

And it is indeed near to the end of an era.

Do they still put shuttle launches on TV? I haven't seen one there in ages. I usually watch on the intarwebs.

Shuttle launches still give me goose-bumps!

So....positive thoughts, good ju-ju, rattling, chanting and prayers for Dex and his crew

Not a typical Monday at the office by any means.

It's great to know the launch went so well and they are speeding along for the next couple of weeks. It's still hard to imagine.

Can't wait to see some photos!!

It was a great experience for sure, one I hope my son never forgets.

I'll get some photos up in a little bit, I'm beat from getting up to drive down there.

Sorry we couldn't hook up, Matt. This trip sort of fell apart in many ways. :P We're exhausted, too. Showed up at KSC at 2:00a.

David, we left about 3 and got there about 5. Back home again about 930.

It was quite a shown, my 7 year old is still talking about it.

That's cool. What an experience for him.

Our dog sitter's brother was found in a coma, so we had to scramble to make other arrangements. And then we had to coordinate picking up a trailer with a Goldwing on it to tow back. Oh, and the nearest hotel was not near at all. About an hour. The combo of Spring Break and Easter had them all full.
