Can't answer your questions, but thanks for the link. I just ordered one of those tool kits and one of their small tire pumps. I've got a cycle pump now, and this looks to be somewhat smaller (probably because they buy pumps, remove the housing and tidy it up), so hopefully I'll save a little space. As for the tool kit, I'm a hopeless mechanic, but perhaps some Good Samaritan could use it to help me on the road.

This was recommended from someone on this forum a while back. Looks like a nice compact kit. You cold probably put one together for less money, but IMO it's perhaps not worth the research and searching. I'll probably be getting one for my b'day.

I have the one for the F800GS. Very well put together kit. As was stated, you can do it for less on your own but I was buying the convenience. Very happy with the set up.
