Tapatio
Some pictures of our recent trip to Death Valley. We had an excellent ride, the weather was great and we enjoyed every aspect of our stay at the Furnace Creek Inn. Our route - 600 miles round trip. Park entrance off of highway 178, past Shoshone. This route was recommended by several on this board. Great alternative to the 127/190 route. Picture of my lovely wife at Badwater View from our room at the Furnace Creek Inn. The pool is fed by a natural warm water spring. The water is not chlorinated, it's like swimming in Evian. Grounds at the Furnace Creek Inn. Scotty's Castle. Quick break in the middle of Hwy 178, Panamint Valley. How much for that dog in the window? Quick lunch in Randsburg on the way home. Good bye but not for long Death Valley. Link to comment

JerryMather
I have friends there today and was wondering if the flowers had already started showing up. Didn't see many in your photo's. Link to comment
Tapatio
No flowers yet. There's lots of green sprouts all over the park. Here's a good source for current information on the annual bloom. http://www.desertusa.com/wildflo/ca_dv.html Link to comment
Albert
Great pictures. From your subject line though, I was expecting something gruesome. Link to comment
