jimmy boy
I have been looking for a plastic hugger...I can only find a carbon one, which i do not want.. Nippy Norman do some in fill panels which supposedly help? Has anyone fitted these? Are they any use? Link to comment
Beaky
Yep, I fitted these to my 12RT and when the panniers are on they do prevent quite a lot of muck getting on the riders and pillions feet/legs. Link to comment
Hall Vince
Yes, I bought some, but direct from Pyramid. They do help, a lot IMO. As does a long front extender and the OE BMW rear extender (which is only about £15!)and can be slid up out of the way on that sunny dry day we have. hth \v/ Link to comment
jimmy boy
Thx Vince... I will have a look for the rear extender, I have not seen those.. Link to comment
garlee
Yes i agree , the infill panels are well worth getting as is a front mudguard extender and the bmw rear extender. All these modifications keep a majority of the road muck and spray away from the bike and especially the pillion passenger! NewBlue
OK I'll bite. What in the name of twisty is an "in fill panel"? Link to comment
Rinkydink
Look just to the front of your side cases(1200RT). Where you can see the rear tire the in fill panels mount there to stop water and gunk from being thrown up on you and your passenger's legs. Link to comment
