2010 RT windscreen

Has anyone had a go with the new 2010 RT? What is the general option of the new windscreen design? Is it better than the last one (2005-2009)? I know it is a straight swap and lines right up, so that isn't the issue. But at 6'4" i am taller than the OEM on my 06 and I hear rumors the new screen is much much better.

I'm 6'3" and demo'd the new RT last weekend with the same question in mind. In my opinion, compared to my '08 RT's factory windscreen, the new one is maybe 10%-20% better in terms of wind "protection". Not a big difference. Compared to my Cal Sci aftermarket windscreen (Medium size), both the old and new OEM designs are considerably less protective. The Cal Sci really does provide a relatively quiet zone for the rider, but at the cost I think of reduced gas mileage and extra stress on the support brackets. Actually, I think the older 12RT windscreen design is very satisfactory, especially when I wear good custom earplugs. And I'm no longer tempted to upgrade to the 2010 screen - it's not enough of an improvement.

I have a 2010 and have never really ridden prior years so I can't compare. My opinion of the 2010 on my bike is that is sucks. Lots of buffeting around the head and a lot of noise. I bought a Cal Sci and just received it yesterday. I can't put it on yet though as the instructions says that the temp has to be above 55 for a couple of days or it will crack.
