Cedar Key VI had a fine turnout. Over 60 riders braved the gorgeous weather to meet in one of the remaining “old Florida” coastal communities and share their tales over a splendid seafood feast.

It is a destination for many two wheel riders.

The Key is part of a small chain of islands that come in many sizes.

There are many choices for accommodations including many old time motel/cabin rentals.

Eventually the road ends and you are on Dock Street where most of the places are literally “on the water”.

When perambulating along the side streets, you may get the feeling you’re being watched.

And you would be correct.

Cedar Key is home to a colony of Sock Monkeys, and if you are lucky, you may catch a glimpse of the Sock Monkey Kong.
