Lunch with Leslie, Mt. Dora, FL Friday

Mama Hoon (Leslie Edmonds) is visiting Florida and is free to have lunch with us on Friday, Jan. 29, while hubby Jamie attends a conference in Orlando. All are invited and here are the details:

1) Time: 12:45 pm on Friday, Jan. 29

2) Place: The Lakeside Inn, 100 North Alexander Street ~ Mount Dora, FL 32757 USA

Mt. Dora is a charming town on the shore of Lake Dora and it's the antique shopping capitol of Florida (so many of us will feel right at home.) The weather is set to be perfect...75 degrees and sunny...just like Leslie's hometown, San Diego. Let us know if you are in so we can give the restaurant a final number.

By the way, five or six of us from the Tampa area are meeting at the Flying J (intersection of SR 52 and I-75) for the ride to Mt. Dora. We will depart the Flying J at 10:30 and take backroads to the Lakeside Inn. Join us if you are in the area.

We've also discussed taking a boat trip across Lake Dora and through the Dora Canal after lunch and Leslie's all for it. Anyone that's interested let us know, so we'll have an approximate idea how many for that also.

 

If anyone wants to ride down as a group from Jax I'd suggest we meet in Orangedale around 10.
